The PUNCH4NFDI Consortium in the German National Research Data Infrastructure NFDI aims at providing FAIR and open science practices for the disciplines of particle, astroparticle, hadron & nuclear physics, and astronomy. Important keywords are workflows, digital research products, a science data platform as common entry point for data and services, federated and inhomogeneous resources, and authentication and authorisation mechanisms. In this presentation, we highlight the PUNCH4NFDI achievements of the first funding period, address the issue of application to astronomy, and give an outlook in the second five-year funding period of the consortium starting in October 2026.
