PoWR stellar atmosphere grids of OB-type stars

Massive stars, like OB-type stars, are key to galaxy evolution, contributing to nucleosynthesis and enriching the interstellar medium. Understanding their atmospheres is necessary to infer the stellar parameters. The Potsdam Wolf-Rayet (PoWR) stellar atmosphere grids offer advanced models for analyzing these stars' spectra, aiding in the determination of properties like temperature, luminosity, and mass-loss rates for single and multiple stars. Utilizing non-LTE radiative transfer calculations, these grids address complex processes in the atmospheres of massive stars. PoWR models facilitate insights into stellar winds, stellar interaction, and chemical compositions, enhancing our understanding of stellar evolution and cosmic impact.
