4MOST Milky Way disk and bulge high-resolution survey

In this talk I will presents the motivation, basic observing strategy, and the main planned scientific projects of the fourth 4MOST consortium survey (S4) - the Milky Way Disk and Bulge High-Resolution survey (4MIDABLE-HR). The primary goal is to explore and constrain the morphology, evolution, and chemical enrichment of the Milky Way disk and bulge. I will discuss how the precision of abundances and kinematics obtained by 4MIDABLE-HR will enable advances in studies of stellar physics, the origins of chemical elements, and the evolution of Galactic stellar populations.
